INTRODUCTION
Heist on the Iron Rails is a short action film adapted from the 1903 American silent film The Great Train Robbery, directed by Edwin S. Porter. This adaptation selects key scenes from the original and enhances them with dialogue and synchronized sound, offering a modern twist on the early cinematic masterpiece.
MY ROLE
In this individual project, I was involved in producing, editing, sound design, and scripting and syncing dialogue. I selected a portion of the original film, cutting it into smaller segments to accelerate storytelling while maintaining continuity. I scripted dialogue, incorporating AI-simulated voices for the characters.
Additionally, I designed the soundscape, including sound effects, foley, and background music, to create a more dynamic and immersive experience, adding depth and liveliness to the film.
